niceFX Guild & Community Rules

These rules apply to everyone representing the "niceFX" guild tag, joining the discord server or in game guild chat. As a member of the niceFX guild you represent our community and wear our tag. We do not tolerate any form of sexism, racism, antisemitism, bullying, insults or elitist behavior. You earn respect and favors by giving respect and favors, don't expect them. Be considerate and recognize that this is a video game and we are all here to be entertained and not drawn into political, religious or current event discussions. Humor goes a long way, as long as it does not cross the line. Our guild has players of all genders and sexual orientations and we expect and appreciate your full respect when talking to members directly, in guild chat or globally on discord. Be yourself, not ignorant. Being social is really important for the success of the guild. We value players who take an active interest in starting conversations, recruiting new players, commenting on articles, sharing posts about their builds, making videos or images etc. Despite our multi-national background, we are an English-speaking guild and all global communication will be mainly in English so as to include everyone in the conversation. Private and direct messages between players do not. The on-going primary conversation for the guild will take place on discord. All permanent communications, or communications that should be kept away from the game should take place on our discord. All questions/comments/discussions that cannot be discussed on discord, or in game should be directed to discord admins or guild leader. Never disclose any of your online account information, physical addresses, passwords or emails to anyone. Keep your data private and our connections secure.

niceFX is meant to be a democracy where everyone's voice is heard. Votes in any discussion/decision will be tallied and decided by the "Guild Leader(s)". Only "Council" members may vote on proceedings. Any voting will take place on or through Discord. Once votes are counted and a verdict reached, this will be the final decision. Since the majority of financial obligations to the guild are and have already been met, in the event of; a tie, bias or the unknown, the "Guild Leader(s)" will have the final veto/say in all things. The guild is expected to grow and evolve over time with new requirements and/or rules. That being said, the players are the lifeblood of our guild and will help guide any new outcome. Make sure to keep up to date with this website and other players. Be kind, pay it forward and keep the stash filled. Anyone in the guild is welcome to recruit new players by bringing them to this discord in order to join. Keeping the stash full, organized, and optimized (quality of items) is essential and ideal. This is extremely helpful to new players as well as experienced players looking to get the most out of their time. This game gives us all some degree of OCD that forces us to meticulously organize shit inside of our own stash, have the same foresight and concern for the guild stash so other members don't have to spend their time on your mess. If you are trading on someone else's dime, make sure to verify your trade! Do not add you being scammed to the total cost of any loan from another guild member. Open your maps to other guild members by either announcing your game is open in guild chat or inviting other players directly. If you are an officer of the guild you are expected to host games and help other members complete objectives or advance their build. Be respectful and participate... Say "Hello" when members come online, and say "Welcome" when new members join. Any/all donations will be reviewed on an individual basis and possibly rejected if unrequired.

DIVINE RULE #2 - SHARE ONLY WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO LOSE. KEEP YOUR PRICELESS ITEMS/INFO TO YOURSELF. DO NOT PUT THE GUILD IN THAT SITUATION.

Please don't put the leader, officers or members of this guild in an amateur and childish situation. Hold on to your priceless items/info! Do not lend or borrow them to anyone or put the item(s) in the guild stash. Your obligation to other members is to help with strength, currency and/or knowledge. Members need to acquire their own godly items the natural way, through the endless grind. You should absolutely trust your guild mates, but do not go down the rabbit hole in the first place and guilt anyone into lending you anything besides the knowledge and partial currency donation to your acquisition. If you give another player an item or information in the guild, and they fail to return it or reciprocate - you are fucked. No one in the guild or from GGG support will retaliate or aid in your debacle. If the situation escalates or the guild is made aware, we will vote to determine who if not both players, will be banned in game and Discord.

ACCESS, BANS, LEAVING/JOINING THE GUILD. DO NOT GET YOURSELF BANNED. LEAVE THE GUILD RESPECTABLY.

niceFX does not condone RMT (Real Money Transactions). Discussions pertaining to RMT theoretically, in the past or future will not be tolerated. If the guild is made aware of a member talking positively about or otherwise promoting RMT, linking to RMT sites, or participating in RMT, they will be permanently banned in game and discord. We will also report your account to GGG. We do not give warnings on this matter.

niceFX does not condone using outside programs, hacks, or tools to help you cheat. You will be permanently banned in game and Discord. We will also report your account to GGG. We do not give warnings on this matter.

niceFX does not condone scamming or thievery. If you try to scam people during trades or participate in scams or stealing from members or non-members while wearing the "niceFX" tag you will be permanently banned in game and discord. We do not give warnings on this matter.

Officers and members in good standing are free to join and leave without reprisal. Officers that leave or are removed from the guild for inactivity will lose their current stature and must rejoin as members. Members will be removed after 1 year of inactivity in Path of Exile I. Officers will be demoted for inactivity after 6 months in Path of Exile I. Members will be removed after 1 year of inactivity Path of Exile II. Officers will be demoted for inactivity after 6 months in Path of Exile II. Officers and Members that are removed for inactivity are not removed from discord and can come back at anytime. No one is removed from discord for inactivity. Players who consistently exhibit shitty behavior will be slated for removal. Any member(s) determined to be a detriment to this guild will be banned permanently from the guild. By using discord, joining the guild and being part of this community you have gained access to more than you know. This is an elite membership, treat it that way. In almost all cases, if you are removed from this guild... It is forever.

- Accounts in-game will be removed after 2 years of inactivity (Path of Exile I + Path of Exile Il).
- No one is removed from Discord for inactivity. Anyone can ask to be re-invited to the guild at anytime.
- You can request in-game membership, for yourself or your friend, from our Discord ⁠⚔️guild-chat channel by posting your In Game Name (IGN) and which version of PoE you want to be invited for.
- Any/all donations are not required and will be individually reviewed and most likely rejected, but that doesn't mean we don't appreciate you and your consideration to want to do so. Special thanks to all the members who have sculpted this discord and our in-game experience.
- If you are the leader of a guild that is no longer active and have stash tabs, you can try contacting GGG support@grindinggear.com, they may be able to save/merge your stash tabs into ours. Expect that this is permanent and cannot be undone.
- If you are already in a guild you must leave in order to accept our invite and join niceFX.

What can I access in the guild stash?
Access levels are shown by the "♦" diamond symbol. Stash tabs with "♦♦♦♦" four diamonds are locked and can only be accessed by the Guild Leader (thank GGG for not creating a co-leader role). Officers can access tabs with "♦♦♦" three diamonds. Members may access tabs with "♦♦" two diamonds, and anyone may access tabs showing only "♦" one diamond. Guild tab permissions change often so pay attention.

It is not acceptable to pillage the guild stash of 50+ items in one sitting/session - UNLESS THE ITEMS ARE LOCATED INSIDE THE RED "TRASH/PURGE" tab. Only items in the "TRASH/PURGE" tab can be taken indiscriminately. Please take what you need when you need it. Try to put in as much as you take out. Players who only take and never put back will be marked for shitty behavior. Repeated offenses will result in removal from the guild.

When do I rank up from Exile in Discord?
Your rank will be automatically updated to Ascendant after 7 days.

When do I rank up from Ascendant in Discord?
Your rank will be automatically updated to Vanguard after 60 days.

How can I become an officer in game?
You must play actively and participate in guild chat in game and in Discord.
You must be with the guild for over 1 year or personally ranked up by a Guild Leader.
You must show extreme consideration and selflessness to other members.

How can I become part of the Discord Council?
You must play actively and participate in guild chat in game and in Discord.
You must be with the guild for over 5 years or personally ranked up by a Guild Leader.
You must have previously talked to other Council members in voice chat.
You must show extreme consideration and selflessness to other members.
